can truly feel the emotions of the clouds here boomie ~ know what they experience too, and hope for a rainbow for them soon… lovely words my friend ~xo R
Perhaps weather has changed, if not, I am sending you beautiful rays of the warm sun of Tuscany and in the evening an unforgettable sunset with shades of rich yellow-orange-viola tones to a star full night – and all without gray clouds:). I enjoy your blog and your poems, thanks for sharing it!
And I can hear a distant thunderclap…
clap slap clap lol…i don’t know how to write the sound but i like it
.
Describes the weather here perfectly!
Oh wow! It’s just gloomy and dark here. The weather is actually not bad today, considering how cold Chicago can be.
It’s rained 2 inches here in Seattle since last night…”bursting forth in tears”
Yikes
This reminds me of W. Soyinka’s I Think it Rains. You lay a vivid description in style. Beautiful. I’ve to read this so more.
I must confess I haven’t heard of or read that particular poem. Will check it out on google tonight. Thanks so much Uzoma
There have been days when I’ve felt like that too.
Another nice write!

Beautiful. The weather reflects our emotions, Nature knows how we feel. ~ Lily
Thanks Lily! I agree

You could be in Scotland today
But although constant rain
May well drive you insane
At least there’s no snow on the way
I will take rain over snow any day

Even better give me some sun.
To chase the gray clouds away
