I want to say I love you
In the most poetic of ways
Using words like tendrils and lilacs
My brown face blushing masked passion and desire
On the coldest and darkest of warm summer days

I want to say I love you
Without being blunt and abrupt
Using words like my bosom &fleshy heart beating fast as one
Whenever you are near
Tingles erupting way down and below

I want to say I love you
In the most romantic of ways
Using raindrops and lullabies
Soft spoken words &gentle sweet rhymes
Syllables broken off in perfect vibes
Just as clouds start to echo in thunder
Lightning like paparazzi bulbs flashing you to my heart
Silent rain drizzling down fast

I want to say I love you
In the most poetic of ways
So I juggle silent words in my heart
Open my brown eyes and like fire
Blaze affection into yours
Knowing no words were ever necessary

This Wait

The thirst grows with each drop of snow
Bumps like tiny points blanket in & around my inner thighs
And tight hips
Love and lust growing with each chill...

Puffs of thick white air fill the outside scene
And my cold sore lungs rise in anticipation
Ample bosom beating faster than normal

This wait for spring’s blossom and renewal is far past its prime

Shapely Legs Of Summer Rain

Shapely legs of summer rain
walked slowly past the corridor of my icy heart
soothing soft as satin silk on my smooth shaded skin
my icy heart faded to null& roamed right into your 12o'clock arms of spring
pretty pink petals dancing before my grey colored eyes
your scented steps left a trail of scintillating rainbow

January Drizzles

This most unusual January drizzles
In the midst of Chicago’s weird winter
Caresses my body warmly
Like your tongue on my navel’s midsection

My core glows at the thought
Of this errant delight

I Like You

I like words, and long runs
I like books, and good food
I like this, and sometimes that
And what do you know
Lately, I find
I like you

During The Night

Traces of you & our mid-afternoon antics flush color to my pale cheeks
Blushing red in contained excitement I smile wide and loud
As I remember us and those things we did

Repeatedly Writing Itself

I take advantage of these thoughts
Turning them into words

Some loves are meant for the pages
Like ours repeatedly writing itself

You and I
Fill the empty spaces
Every magical encounter a verse
A chapter or book in the making

When Coffee Came Over For Tea

He came over for a cup of tea
On a cold Sunday morn
This tall dark drink of coffee

Our future was spelled out in my green and his earl grey(tea)
A (sly)smile of seduction forming & sealing his fate shut

Cookies crumbled under warm tea biscuits
When our quiet eyes finally met…

Like That Warm Cornbread

I am a sucker for warm cornbread
Passion for it rising from within to my hips
Warmly intense in its soft smoothness like milk
Every bite is lust sweetly swallowed

Then there is you
Walking in
In the midst of it all
And once again like before you arrived
Passion starts rising

This time from my hips swayed and corked straight to the left
Where you dark brown eyes now rest

Like that warm cornbread…

He kissed her
On soft moist lips
A warm brown stain left lingering
Long after his summer scent was gone
