How I would love to lie in your arms
Sipping fine aged wine
As you nibble on exotic and sweet fruits
Dark chocolate pieces all about
Your sultry voice whispering amusing seduction
Enchantingly into my heart
My spirits soaring
With the evening breeze
Your love, my laughter
Both echoing out loud
As our eyes full and alive
Heartily take in Rome’s beautiful architecture
I have said it before, I will never be freshly pressed…I just know it. However I know people who have been…I follow them, and they follow me, so I am thinking in a sort of connected way…I can claim “been freshly pressed” Right? No…ok, then if you say no 
.
Anyhow, one of my friends and a blogger who I follow, Michael- TBA is a freshly pressed recipient, and featured my poem “Coffee” a while back on his blog while he was enjoying the sights, foods, wines, and the many wonderful regions of Italy. Now if that doesn’t make me connected to freshly pressed; people I don’t know what else will…except maybe this…
TBA sent me some of the pictures from his many visits to Italy, and asked me to run with it… he said there is a real story to the pictures but I have no idea what that story is.
I accepted the challenge and came up with some poems and an overall story to what I perceived from the pictures…he is featuring them on his very poular site today, as part of his IMO Thursday series. How kind of him!
Tomorrow, he will reveal the real story behind the pictures, a continuation of his ongoing posts about his top 25 Italy moments. The pictures he sent me are from his #10 moment. I have never been to Italy, but have heard it is a beautiful place…Michael and his many stories, and pictures take the country and its many cities and regions to a whole new level. His site will make you fall in love with this country even if you have been before…and I am most certain Italians would be very pleased with his many depictions of their country.
If you are a lover of good food, great photography, fine wine, and well told stories then you must check out Michael at TBA, I am sure you would be taken in by all the greatness his site has to offer. I am humbled to be his featured writer this week. I think he might have been too kind with his opinion of me, but I accept it graciously.

I bet everyone is doing great today…I really do hope so, been catching up on blogs and posts…so much talent out there. So, today I was checking my emails and trying to catch up on all the amazing blogs I follow as usual, when I saw a post that looked all too familiar…
I clicked on the post to read it, and lo and behold…it was a poem written by me. Apparently, my poem is the featured post on the blissful adventurer’s blog today.
Michael Housewright, author of www.blissfuladventurer.wordpress.com is out enjoying Italy with his lovely wife, and had been sending me emails via his good friend Annie to inform me of the post but I didn’t see the mails…too many emails or more like too many email addresses .
I had written the poem, when Michael posted something about coffee on his blog and I commented on inspiration to write something, and he offered to critique it for me, and so I sent him an email and he went over it and asked me to work on it some more…
So the poem is featured on his very amazing blog today; if you don’t follow or know of his blog already, and you have some free time, I urge you to check his stuff out. He has some amazing pictures and many tales of his trips around the world…one of his posts about Hong Kong was even freshly pressed about a month ago, and the blissful adventurer is just really an all-round nice guy.
I am humbled that my poem is worthy enough to be featured on his blog… I am even so much more humbled and happy that this caught me unawares…because if I had known ahead of time, I would have been editing and restricting and just making a mess of it all…so this poem is my very unedited poem…no make ups or fancy paddings…and for Michael to use it makes my heart appreciative. I must say I really like the poem.
