BB (Bale Cafe)

Standard

I will like to go to a café with you
On a mid-Wednesday morning like this
Sip on hot cocoa creamy smooth and brown as you
Nibble sweetly at bits of marble coffee cakes
Strawberry glaze staining my happy lips pink

*I was in the city on Sunday, and saw the name of a cute cafe, Bale Cafe, and this poem was born :) *

Where Once You Were

Standard
I sense you in the air
Where once you were
A living breathing part of me
Shades of you floating like butterfly trails
My heart so briefly wanders to our once upon a time
And I can't help but wonder
How the hell are you these days?

Happy new month!!! May it be your best yet. Blessings

Sunday And Tuesday’s Collision

Standard
Your smell after that cold shower
Splashes your cologne’s musky scent
Into my heart’s weakest refrain
It awakens senses wisely buried
I can no longer help myself
As Sunday night rips into Tuesday’s unrest
Fatigue and warm desire subtly &softly collides

This Wait

Standard
The thirst grows with each drop of snow
Bumps like tiny points blanket in & around my inner thighs
And tight hips
Love and lust growing with each chill...

Puffs of thick white air fill the outside scene
And my cold sore lungs rise in anticipation
Ample bosom beating faster than normal

This wait for spring’s blossom and renewal is far past its prime

Like Pink Cotton Candy On A Summer Nooon

Standard
Your eyes partly blue and darkly brown softly pull me in
Sweet & seductive I like you, so allow me to be honest
Truth is I like you a lot

The taste of you could be like warm sugar
Slightly slapping and burning the back of my throat
The part that your moist tongue could so easily tickle
Like pink cotton candy on a summer noon
Delighting my swollen navel through to my tummy

But I must refrain
Knowing your side effects is lasting
Tempting and downright sinful

(So) I keep watching from a far (unsafe) distance…

If I Had…

Standard
If I had a dog
I would call her honey
And feed her treats

If I had a cat
I would call her ginger
Or maybe ginger
And fish her good fish

If I had a man
I would call him YOU
Or maybe love
Daily feeding him with wet& juicy kisses

Trying To Be Sexy On Valentine’s Eve

Standard
He shaved his head and trimmed his beard
All the while winking at me from a mile away
His glasses down to the ridge of his nose
He grinned like that fellow
Who stole a chunk of my heart several years ago

Late Sunday Night

Standard
I walk hand in hand with you
Through the garden of fresh desire
Love blooming like red rose petals usher in spring
The sweet fragrance of our (late) night air

Droplets of silver rain gently trickle down
Your soft palms melt into mine
The thirst of a fortnight quenched
In one passionate smooch

Steamy Shower

Standard
hot cascading waters
beat on my arched aching back
like fast rhythmic African drums
gently letting my black hair down
the fatigue stress& sweat of my 9 mile run
slowly fades with the shower steams

Shapely Legs Of Summer Rain

Standard
Shapely legs of summer rain
walked slowly past the corridor of my icy heart
soothing soft as satin silk on my smooth shaded skin
my icy heart faded to null& roamed right into your 12o'clock arms of spring
pretty pink petals dancing before my grey colored eyes
your scented steps left a trail of scintillating rainbow
