I Want To Say I Love You

Standard
I want to say I love you
In the most poetic of ways
Using words like tendrils and lilacs
My brown face blushing masked passion and desire
On the coldest and darkest of warm summer days

I want to say I love you
Without being blunt and abrupt
Using words like my bosom &fleshy heart beating fast as one
Whenever you are near
Tingles erupting way down and below

I want to say I love you
In the most romantic of ways
Using raindrops and lullabies
Soft spoken words &gentle sweet rhymes
Syllables broken off in perfect vibes
Just as clouds start to echo in thunder
Lightning like paparazzi bulbs flashing you to my heart
Silent rain drizzling down fast

I want to say I love you
In the most poetic of ways
So I juggle silent words in my heart
Open my brown eyes and like fire
Blaze affection into yours
Knowing no words were ever necessary

Tonight

Standard
The music of desire plays softly tonight
Light rain fogging clear windows
And I would do a dance to nature's low music
Barry White accompanying with his baritone
But alas I am a skinny girl with two left feet
Perfectly stuck in my six inch heels
(Shame it is for I am the only African girl I know who can't dance)
So I release the strings of my pale red dress
Perfectly worn like a second skin and
Delicately held together by stitches of black lace
(For I need a plan B for tonight's seduction)
My petite frame swaying sensually to the beat
In perfect time for our tongues to meet as soft lips part to whisper...

Late Sunday Night

Standard
I walk hand in hand with you
Through the garden of fresh desire
Love blooming like red rose petals usher in spring
The sweet fragrance of our (late) night air

Droplets of silver rain gently trickle down
Your soft palms melt into mine
The thirst of a fortnight quenched
In one passionate smooch

Shapely Legs Of Summer Rain

Standard
Shapely legs of summer rain
walked slowly past the corridor of my icy heart
soothing soft as satin silk on my smooth shaded skin
my icy heart faded to null& roamed right into your 12o'clock arms of spring
pretty pink petals dancing before my grey colored eyes
your scented steps left a trail of scintillating rainbow

January Drizzles

Standard
This most unusual January drizzles
In the midst of Chicago’s weird winter
Caresses my body warmly
Like your tongue on my navel’s midsection

My core glows at the thought
Of this errant delight

The Things He Saw(What He Saw)

Standard
He saw sunny summer in her stride
The warmth of June in her poised walk

He caught a glimpse of the golden sun reflecting off her trails
Her feet & footprints august on brown sandy beaches

He saw drops of spring in her tender eyes
Pops of yellow April and lilacs bright
Soft smile turned inward like dew drops of rain

He saw life in her soul
Love listed in adequate shades

The clear blue waters echoed her name
Teasingly calling her love...

*I can't decide on what I want or think the title should be :).
Have a blessed and fulfilling week!*

Mother

Standard
Mother always smelt like soap
The fresh earthy kind
Thick and black as night
Shining as the cover on her warm fat flesh

Her skin soft and soothing
Like cold rain on a Friday night
Nurtured many a children

Africa floating strength in her frail veins

Today’s Morning Skies

Standard
This morning’s skies paint a funny picture across the sea & its shorelines
It paints a funny picture as only Mother Nature can do
You and me as bright sunny patches of silver and heavy rain clouds
Drip dropping fast on a quiet Sunday morn

In This Year’s Spring

Standard
When the rain falls on us in this year’s spring
Your ready red lips I slowly will kiss
Pink and yellow blossoms dancing all about
Warmth slowly reignited
As sunshine June begs to say hello
