I will get me some UGG boots
Deep brown as the skin on my cold feet
For these snowy spring days & chilly June nights
But even I know that those cozy brown boots pale in comparison
To your warm breath on my nape down to my spine straight through
To my once cold feet
There is spring somewhere deep inside of me Waiting to be unearthed by something irresistible Like your warm touch & soothing breath
Winter has me bound hands and knees first I am a captive 60 days and still counting... My heart broken in its embrace cannot see spring’s color filled horizon My mind wanders for days without end longing for hope’s warmth and love’s touch Sleep deprived and dreams unfulfilled My tired eyes sag under the burden of heavy falling snow
Tears shed from a broken center Echoes pain the still of winter His love gone icy bitter Now finds warmth in the arms of another
I walk hand in hand with you Through the garden of fresh desire Love blooming like red rose petals usher in spring The sweet fragrance of our (late) night air Droplets of silver rain gently trickle down Your soft palms melt into mine The thirst of a fortnight quenched In one passionate smooch

Shapely legs of summer rain walked slowly past the corridor of my icy heart soothing soft as satin silk on my smooth shaded skin my icy heart faded to null& roamed right into your 12o'clock arms of spring pretty pink petals dancing before my grey colored eyes your scented steps left a trail of scintillating rainbow
This most unusual January drizzles In the midst of Chicago’s weird winter Caresses my body warmly Like your tongue on my navel’s midsection My core glows at the thought Of this errant delight
