Bush Parade

A well-manicured lawn
Even sometimes bare and bald
was left unattended only for a few

Still the damage had been done…

It had started to show signs of neglect
or perhaps wear and tear
As dusty greys and silver streaks
started to appear
on what should have been a young lawn

There and then 22 year old Nina
Knew it was time to stop the bush parade
And mow her lawn right away
