Falling softly
On my pace filled head
Carried gently by Chicago’s windy breeze
Autumn’s yellow and brown leaves
Quietly cheering me on

  1. I’m sitting here trying to gear up to go for, not a run, but a jog but I’m battling acid-reflux AND a headache — maybe it’s not in the cards for me today. This poem and picture make me want to go even more.

    • I can imagine. We had a really hot summer this year, but things are cooling off nicely…amazing how one part of the world can be so freakishly hot and another is freezing cold.

      Thank you sweet Red!
