Your smell like autumn
Nippy crisp and invigorating
Takes over my warmth

Intoxicating my many layers
I sense sweet nostalgia in air

My heart love and home welcomes you
Embracing a new day and
Night time scent

Autumn smelling like YOU

      • Oh my goodness…would you believe this is the second time I’m doing this.

I am so sorry. I wonder why I thought that…hmmnn! Shame on me :).

      • Geesh, I’m such a watering pot, I don’t want to stereotype females, but my poems ooze estrogen. Boomie, you made me laugh so hard this morning ๐Ÿ˜‰

      • You know at the back of my mind I thought why write such feminine poems bit I was like oh he’s probably an advocate especially when you wrote one about your feminine ancestry or something like that. I don’t even know why I thought that.

I feel so bad but glad you laughed. Made me feel better, I’m like she must hate me and think I’m terrible. I had to go and look at your avatar and I was like oh my!!!

  1. Boomie,
I visit your page for selfish reason. A thought occur to me: Would you like to host Sunday’s Haikus festivities on my blog, in a very near future?
    Le Clown

      • Boomie,
My followers would behave on a day where Boomie would host the ceremonies. Anyone who would stray from that path would answer to Le Clown, and no one wants that… I am honoured. Thank you, Boomie. How does October 6 sound like?
        Le Clown

      • October 6 is a Saturday. I think I have a race that day. Let me check and get back to you. But it should be fine.

        Thank you kind sir…or clown

  2. Beautiful… ๐Ÿ™‚

Yeah “smell like autumn” a wonderful expression – perhaps true passion makes our sense of smell change through the years so the object of our passion alternating smells of winter, spring, summer and autumn – even icicles in january, “stinks” quite crazy of passion – if we’re in the mood for it… ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜‰
