I Watch An Angel Sleep

Standard
On a cold December night
An angel sleeps on a bed of pink daisies
Love floating butterflies around her dainty walled room of peach

Bye baby bunting coos softly
Light snow blowing unseen against glass framed windows
Her childlike snores meditative music that fills my nighttime air

I stand by and watch my (loving) daughter sleep

Saturday Morning Sun

Standard
Gloriously golden in its early morning rise
Saturday morning sun melts Thursday's winter white

My Paper Heart

Standard
My heart
A blank white paper
Has your love in crimson red
Delicately written all over it

Pumping softly
Every beat reads
Like a beautiful love letter

Her Many Different Colors

Standard
Sometimes peachy pink, on rare occasions gray
Yellow in tune with spring, red flower blossoms in February’s love
Money green, honeycomb, juicy butter suckles
That color of passion love and lust
Are all in this blending her

She is more than this black or caramel brown colored skin
That you and your color blinded kind
Only wish to see

A NEW SEASON

A new day a new dawn
A new season with new words

AUTUMN CARRIES WORDS

Autumn carries words on gentle breeze
Golden leaves gently falling
As nature transports poetry
And rhymes
Straight to my heart

AUTUMN IN COLORED APPLES

Beautiful colored apples
Red yellow green and plum
Autumn shows in fruits

FALL IN YOUR LOVE

Cool breeze of autumn
Caressing all my fibers
I blush (fall) in your love

UNTITLED

The warmth leaves for other lands
Gentle breeze falls
Like autumn leaves
On these parts

COLORS OF THE SEASON

Colors of this season warm my heart
Embracing my insides with its subtle breeze
Gentle and caressing I feel nature’s love
Fall and autumn surrounding my joy

MY HEART’S WARMTH

I fall into your arms
As summer surrenders to autumn
There my heart finds warmth
On cold and chilly nights

DRIVING TODDLERS IN THE RAIN

October rain blows
Soothing breeze
Through rolled down windows
Into this stuffy automobile
Calming cranky toddlers
Straight to slumber

A peaceful drive ensues…

YOU AND I

Elegance flows in this heavenly body
Your fingers trail them
Absorbing every bit of this deity
Love flowing in the celestials
This heartfelt desire marking us
As gods

UNTITLED II

The rain sets the mood
Its rhythmic drips the soundtrack
Of a chilly day soon fading
Into a cold night
Warmth found between extra feet
And sheets

YOU: CRYSTALLINE POEM

Thoughts of you consumed my day
Tonight sweet dreams of you will fill my sleep

BETWEEN TWO POEMS

Torn between 2 poems
One of lust and desire
The other on words and passion
I abandon both
For another collection
Of short poems

KINDNESS THIS WEEK: SMILE

As much as you can
Be kind to all this week
Sometimes all will it take
Might be a sincere smile

*A lovely week to you all :)*

I Imagine October

Standard

I imagine October
An art of colorful hues

With reds blushing elegance
In the light of golden suns fading greens into yellow
Browns toning the grounds
In sync with earth

As autumn breeze gently spreads
It’s blissful stroke of peace
Over nature

October is splattered brightly
On a canvas of graceful adornments

Autumn’s color and warmth
It’s masterful showcase

*Have a lovely and peace filled weekend*

Smiling Splashes Of Color

Standard

I can’t tell what this smile is all about
I think it has something to do with you

You who splashed color in my once dull life
Black and white it just was
With a patch of greys here and there
Sometimes I was down with the blues
Dreary and sad…all alone

These days
There are reds and pops of yellow
Spring like colors and beautiful pastels
Money green and violet purple
And just the other night
It was blossom pinks

I smile
Though I can’t tell what it is all about
But I am most certain…
It has something to do with you
