This Present Called Today (In Case The World As We Know It Ends)

Standard
This present called today
A gift slowly unwrapped in my stretch and yawn
Is cherished immensely in the wake of your brown eyes

Sweet melody of yester night’s rain echoing still
Peace and contentment stirring vivid carnality on my insides

Hope and love in this moment singularly doubled
As anticipation of your sweet touch &
Gentle plastered kisses reach a climax
I pull you in closer than before

In case the world as we know it ends…

Come tomorrow

  1. Bunmi,

Such simple ones just lifts my heart and take me to where I really want to be, in-spite of it all!

Thank you for these gifts of your writings.

    Thanks,

    F. A. B. Jesus, my strength and song!
