“Come as you are” is is our family-friendly Zoom open mic happening on Saturday, June 26 from 7 – 9 EST / 4 – 6 PST! We’re featuring poets and musicians sharing their perspectives on life and the world to promote diversity through their arts.
We will be celebrating creatives from all walks of life — those whose hearts continually beat in words, those who whisper magic from golden tongues, those who do not necessarily label themselves “poets” or “musicians” but have something heartfelt to share.
We are coming together to support organizations which diversify the tech industry with the goal of facilitating equity and professional opportunities for those whose voices must be heard. The tech industry offers some of the highest salaries in the country and contributes to greater efficiency and continued discoveries in all sectors.
As such, diversifying the tech industry is crucial for shaping a society in which all people are valued. In line with this intention, we’re fundraising for the following organizations: @techinclusion (Change Catalyst) and @ajillafoundation (The Ajilla Foundation). www.changecatalyst.co and
